Organization out of chaos

I've been a loyal user for the last six years and wondering why I didn't start sooner. Sure saves a lot of time reading a lot of non-pertinent material.
What's great about it: Step by step process and ability to compare prior year data
What's not so great: Can't think of any - only my own record keeping

Certainly an easy and inexpensive was to do taxes.
What's great about it: Family has used for years and accuracy was key.
What's not so great: Many questions for a simple return.

I enjoy using Turbo Tax, which is very user friendly software. It walks you through step by step and does the paperwork for you.
What's great about it: Very user friendly software
What's not so great: staring into the computer and reading everything very carefully.

Quick easy and accurate

In less than two hours i was able to complete what historically taken me all day even using TurboTax in years past. Each new interation is faster. Gone are the videos and tax-babble. now it is import, point click, fill in and verify then send. HIGHLY Recommend this to both novice and expert alike. I enjoy hearing from co-workers who use the other two traditional tax prep companies and hearing how they either lost money in the deal or had some "trained on the web" expert tell them tax law. the name TurboTax really says it all.
What's great about it: Excellent user interface
What's not so great: Not many at all

Easy to use

I have been using Turbo tax for a number of years. It becomes easier each year when using the Turbo tax to file for my returns. I will go back to this product.
What's great about it: no trouble following the steps

Overall the experience was positive. Walked through the processes easiely and efficiently until the charitable deduction review came up. I found it easier to simply not use it and just reenter my dedutions as if this were the first time using the program.
What's great about it: Easy step by step instructions
What's not so great: needs to have a better way of reviewing charitablle deductions from previouse year shch as alphebitizing them.

makes filing taxes easy, for the most part

This year, as in the past, I had an overall quite positive experience with TurboTax. My wife and I have moderately complicated taxes and I have been happier with filing my own tax returns using TurboTax for the last few years than I was with an expensive tax preparer's help before that. For the most part, TurboTax makes it easy to fill in information from W2s, various 1099s, and captures deductions well. There are always a few things I have to research on the web, and a couple of forms were hard to fill in completely, so it doesn't make things completely painless ... and of course you still have to have records of the necessary information.
What's great about it: easy-to-follow step by step screens to fill in, no need to follow details of tax code or fill out confusing IRS workshee
What's not so great: a few screens (childcare providers, eg) were hard to fill out completely
