I have used TurboTax for about 7 years now and it is the only program I will use. One thing that confused me was having to add Employer zip and state, along with my state at the end of the filing - thought I had done something wrong. I have never had to do this before. The program had already gone thru my return and said everything looked good so why did I have to do this? Other than this, business as usual.
What's great about it: Straight forward, explanations easy to understand
What's not so great: Check off areas that I didn't need, as if I had gone thru them

the turbo tax deluxe was a good product because it guieds you through the process of prepareing your tax return.
What's great about it: led through the hole process

Good but could be streamlined

I have used TurboTax for years and I like it. I like how it imports prior year data so I don't have to re-enter things that don't change. I've never had a problem with it that I couldn't work out.
This year, I had a 1-time withdrawal from a retirement fund, with withholding. I ended up owing state tax, but still got a federal refund because I always over-withhold from my salary. However, I DID end up owing some state tax.
TurboTax took me through a whole estimated tax process and gave me no chance to skip it because I knew it wouldn't recur. I think it should have allowed me to skip that.
What's great about it: Has places for all I need and much I don't
What's not so great: Doesn't let me skip some things it should

Got the Job Done, With a headache

I love turbotax and always use it, but this year was frustrating because it kept taking me back to a form i supposedly didn't complete, but it kept adding lines I didn't need. Gave me quite the headache, but the FAQ and support assisstance got me through the issue, so thanks turbotax!
What's great about it: Always fast, easy, helpful
What's not so great: Kept taking me back to a form I didnt need.

Been Using TurboTax for More than 12 Years .

I remember when I used to do my taxes the old fashion way with pen, paper and a stack of forms. TurboTax Deluxe has been a time saver for the last dozen years or so. I can not think why I would ever go back. On occasions, I have been tempted to try the other tax prep software but never had the time. TurboTax simply meets my needs. The step by step process is so clear this has become practically effortless.
What's great about it: Clear, Unambigous Steps, Helpful Review and Tips

Just filed my taxes, it as easy as 1-2-3

I used to spend all day long manually filing my papers and about 6 years ago I started using Turbo Tax and it takes me maybe 2 hours to complete my filing. Biggest advantage is E-filing that saves me so much time and money. Thank you TurboTax.
What's great about it: Makes it real easy
What's not so great: You are not sure whether they did take care of all your deductions

Turbo Tax Is The Only Option!

This is the first time that I have ever filed my own taxes & Turbo Tax got me through the process in about 15 minutes from start to end. Filed and sent off and waitying for my tax return & done with just a few clicks. What is there to say except --AMAZING!
What's great about it: Simple - Clean Interface - Easy to Comprehend - Fast - Detailed - Extremely Convenient
What's not so great: None that I can think of or experienced
