simple but still tedious

I always go through everthing just to make sure I'm not missing anything. I know I asked for it, but there is sooo much that doesn't apply. Seems you could bring up the things I did last year and then give me a list of what I might want to do as well. I take the standard deduction these days. It would help if you gave me an idea of how much the various catagories would have to be to make itemizing attractive. It is annoying to go through all the data collection and inputing ony to find it is not worth -- by a large amount!
What's great about it: lead me through everything, brought forth my old data, efile
What's not so great: tedious, brings me through everything most of which doesn't apply, prints forms with end total of zero - why bother!

I think this year was far easier than any other. My taxes were complete in no time.

2012 Refund

Hard to locate investment loss document, found it under prior loss.
Can never find the 1099 PATR
Last year online information did not transfer to 2012 info
Will continue to use even with these issues.
What's great about it: Fairly easy
What's not so great: Wording difference

Able to move back and forth through return without re-entering information.
