Love Turbo Tax

I called the TurboTax help line and a tax advisor spent over an hour discussing my tax question. She was extremely helpful and I hung up relieved and ready to file my tax return. I will continue to use TurboTax every year.
What's great about it: Really easy to use, Tax advisors helped a ton
What's not so great: Costs to e-file your state returns

Each year turbotax appears to make little changes that make it more and more friendly to the user.
What's great about it: After using turbotax for the last 7-8 yrs its easy for me to use
What's not so great: I have no suggestions at this time.

Exceptional Value

It was great, gave us a snapshot of what our tax situation might be in all kinds of future events dawning on our horizon, events that might make a change to our future retirement plans, as well as effectively maximizing our state and federal refunds. So painless, I don't know why I procrastinated by several months!
What's great about it: Quick and Easy, More patient than a human
What's not so great: Not a human, need to know your question well

Buggy for 2012 version

After updating and deleting deduction information to avoid high-audit-risk, the audit risk remained even though the deletions showed that they were indeed removed. TurboTax isn't updating this recognition level properly. Have not seen this issue in the 7 years of using this otherwise excellent software to do our taxes. FIX this for next year, TurboTax!
What's great about it: Still excellent to do your taxes
What's not so great: the program has a problem with no change to risk level even after deleted deductions

A great solution to tax filing

Turbotax has been for me a wonderful solution to my tax filing for the last decade and seems to get better each year. It's straightforward approach is so much more expedient that the other solutions I have used over the years.

State filing should not automatic go to e-mail
Emloyers state ID showed as "error missing" but was entered? and showed later as ok
