Gets easier every year!

I have used TurboTax for about 10 years now and it gets easier every year!
I would have like to have been presented with an option to review my tax forms in the Step-by-Step dialogue after TurboTax had reviewed and error checked my returns but before I entered the "File" section. I ended up manually skipping ahead to the "Review and Save" tab in the "File" section and then returning to the beginning of the "File" section.
What's great about it: Very easy to use!
What's not so great: No review of tax forms before File section.

I have never, in my wildest dreams, imagined that I would be able to do this filing on my own. The first year was pretty nerve wrecking, for no real reason. This second year, I felt like a pro and would highly recommend this for anyone to save the price of paying an accountant.
What's great about it: Easy, precise, takes you by the hand and leads you every step of the way
What's not so great: None encountered

Couldn't do it without Turbo Tax

Tried another product once. Gave it away without finishing my return and went out and bought Turbo Tax. That was at least 15 years ago. Have never tried anything else.
What's great about it: Have used Turbo Tax for years. Best tax help ever!

Decent, But More Improvement Is Needed

It's difficult to follow the Turbo Tax Deluxe entries for K-1s for publicly traded partnerships. One often have to guess how to enter numbers from K-1s would flow to fields in Turbo Tax.
Note that NOT all numbers from K-1s can be imported into Turbo Tax, so a lot of human guesswork is still needed which is prone to errors.
Turbo Tax Delux should start numbering all fields related to its K-1 form entries with the SAME box numbers as indicated on partnership K-1 forms (just like what it does with W-2 forms). This will make the software much less confusing and more marketable (attract more customers)

What's not so great: Lacking More Support and Info for K-1s

2012 Refund Review

I like that Turbo tax imports previous year tax return information thereby saving me time not having to re-enter info. I also like the It's Deductible website! Using Turbo Tax myself saves me time and money that I would otherwise have to pay for someone else to complete my return and wait for them be finished.
What's great about it: Saves me money, Easy to use, quick and efficient
What's not so great: Nothing I dislike
Pros: I bought or sold investments
