I've used Turbo Tax for years with great results, even with self-employment taxes, foreign earned income, and changes in residency.
What's great about it: I like the careful, interview-style process Turbo Tax uses to fill out the appropriate forms.
What's not so great: I'm stumped at least once or twice a year, with insufficient help on the Turbo Tax tips and extra information

I guess I am assuming it doesn't import a pdf from another tax company, if so, +1 star.
What's great about it: The ability to import prior year tax information can save a huge amount of time...
What's not so great: ...if you used Turbo tax last year.

The Turbo Experience

I have been using this program for many years and it really makes an unpleasant process easy. The thought of having to review all of the new rules is overwhelming, but thanks to TurboTax they do that for you, and simplify the language so that the common tax payer can understand. You do not need a CPA or law degree. Thank you for your hard work and attention to detail.
What's great about it: Makes a painful process bearable

Excellent Product - Makes Taxes Easy

Excellent product that greatly reduces the complexity of taxes. I always think going into filing my returns that I have a weird situation this year (taking a 401K payment early, getting K1 forms as part of an estate distribution, etc) that it won't be able to handle, but it always does - and easily walks the user through the complicated mess of our tax system.
What's great about it: Both Hand Holding and Direct to forms
