Enjoyed the efficiency and accuracy of Turbo Tax
Had problems with my retired clergy housing allowance which was sent to me on a 1099-R. T Tax made no provision for this.
Also had difficulty contacting TT by email as my previous e mail was cancelled by provider and I could not contact TT about changing my address as my previous email was my user name but the password did not work and they kept sending a change of password email to a non existent A/c so I had to file my return by mail

Easy filing

TurboTax is easy to use but advanced enough to cover everything you need and more. Every year I find more items I can deduct thanks to donation tracker and the vast knowledge database of this software.
What's great about it: Easy, in depth and accurate....tons of information but not overwhelming.
What's not so great: non

TurboTax is the way to go

I've been using TurboTax for many years, and each year it gets easier. It pulls information in from last years taxes, from Quicken (which I also use), and from It's Deductible (where I record my charitable contributions as I make them). I think it took me all of an hour and a half to do our federal taxes this year. Once the federal taxes are done, the state taxes take about 15 minutes.
What's great about it: quick, easy, does most of the work for you
What's not so great: none that I know of
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

This is my 7th year using TurboTax and it was easy. I went into the window Mininum Tax by accident and it wanted a response before it would send the tax forms to the government. I had to go back to the form itself and delete that one form, not the whole tax forms. Once done, saved, filed, done in 5 minutes. The other software may be cheaper, but Intuit, who also makes Quickbooks for small business, knows what they are doing. Besides, I can write off the expense of TurboTax from my taxes, I didn't know that until TuboTax told me!
What's great about it: 65 pages done in about 2 hours
What's not so great: Make a mistake, research how to fix it

What's great about it: Loved that Turbo Tax imported all last years data to my new return. Cut my imput time in half~
