Needs improvement

Overall, TT is fine but needs some basic changes.
- The EasyGuide or Explore on your My Own section drives me crazy. You have to scroll all the way to the bottom to go back. Add a back button to the top of the page or even at each section.
- The import from Quicken is another area that needs work. It should be able to import payroll exactly as needed and not have to manually fill in information.
- Why does it ask if I'm ready to work on a area now??? There is always a back button, no need to ask, or just make it a Continue button.
- Clarification on some sections and this may be more of a IRS issue in terms of understanding what they are asking for but sometimes it's very confusing.
- Lastly, when I go back through sections like Education, it doesn't remember all of my previous responses. I should not have to reenter a yes or no question if I already answered it.

What's great about it: Most functionality, E-file, overall look and feel
What's not so great: More details needed, better interface, changes to Easyguide

EASY AS ONE, TWO, THREE

I found that using Turbo Tax made filing my returns so much easier. I didn't have to worry about missing any of the details needed to file an accurate return.
What's great about it: STEP BY STEP HELP
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Gets better each year

Appears that my Fed payment is going to be taken out of my State Refund. Confusing.
What's great about it: convenient, easy to follow, efiling is great
What's not so great: Refund amount at the end should say "net refund" and be broken down into Fed and State.

I felt very comfortable filing my taxes using Turbo Tax. it was easy and I got fast results when I e-filed.
What's great about it: Guided tours leave no room for error
What's not so great: Nothing bad to report!

Anyone Can Use It!

I have been usuing TurboTax for years and with each passing year it continues to improve. The capability to import the previous year's return is a time saver in many areas, especially if you have traded investments and have capital gain/loss carryover. In addition, the transfer of information to my State Return was much improved over last year's version.
What's great about it: Import of information from employers, financial institutions, and previous year's return.
What's not so great: Payment options for filing State Returns. Paypal would be nice addition.

Fast, affordable and effecient

For many years, I prepared my returns by hand. However, after being introduced to TurboTax a couple of years ago, I will continue to use this tax prep tool. The step by step guidance along with the comparison to the prior year's return ensure that I don't make any mistakes. I appreciate the error free returns. As well, I appreciate that it doesn't take hours of entering figures by hand anymore. The election of filing electronically is the icing on the cake for using TurboTax.
What's great about it: I really like and appreciate the step by step guidance of TurboTax. For many years, I appreciate error free returns.
What's not so great: There is nothing that I do not like about using TurboTax

i would click ok or continyue and have to wait. didnt know what was going on was having computer problems so sometime wondered if program froze.
