Easy as Money in my pocket!

Besides the fact that taxes are time consuming no matter how you do them, this program really helps you understand what you are doing and if you don't there are several ways to get the answers before putting the wrong information in. The tips and suggestions really help clarify each step in the process.
What's great about it: very easy to maneuver through the program

Turbo tumble

I was so happy to get done as turbo tax did all the figuring for me, however to get through the glitch of asking for a State ID number for which there was none, and after trying 10 times to correct the "supposed' error, I gave up and decided to mail my taxes in. Am sorry this wasn't fixed before hand. So now I likely will have to do my taxes a different way. I paid for the original program, only to be disappointed with the end result., plus the charge to file state. I will require the state e-file charges refund.
What's great about it: Turbo tax did all the calculations
What's not so great: Wouldn't e-file so I had to mail my taxes. Expect credit on charges

Have used TurboTax for many years and like the way it leads me through all the necessary steps for completing my returns. I also appreciated its thoroughness and accuracy checks. Will continue using this software in the future.

A small glitch but all in all very well organized

For the most part Turbo Tax is easy to use but should there be a glitch, there is someone there to speak to. It may require your waiting a bit before you are connected to a speaking person but that may depend on the time of day you place the call. My refund was much higher this year than any of the previous years because I have a small business that operated at a loose. I also cared for a parent for over 6 months and got full credit for that. I am also retired and do not get W-2s. Turbo tax does seem to leave no stones unturned and will trigger you to think in ways to maximize your deductions. I am also a college student.
What's great about it: Help was available when I needed to talk with someone about a tax question
What's not so great: There seemed to have been some inconsitencies between my CSA 1099 form received from OPM and Turbo tax's. Resolved

I found that using Turbotax was easy, I like the importing of tax documents and the review that the software does.
The cost of filing state taxes rather high so I file usingsnail mail and paper.

Slam Dunk my Refund

I have been using Turbo Tax for over 10 years, the best thing since sliced bread. I can complete both 1040 forms for Federal and State in less than 2 hours. The ability to import information on employment W2 and investement accounts is a great feature.
Turbo Tax is a great product.
What's great about it: Easy to follow
What's not so great: Questions that do not pertain to my tax situation
