I was forced to enter the information manually for 1099R forms rather than importing it automatically from the previous years saved forms as had been done on previous years TurboTax Deluxe programs
What's great about it: logical progression through preparation
What's not so great: 1099R form info not imported from previous years forms

Great product. Easy to prepare and great way to file records for next year.
What's great about it: Quick prompts and help. Easy to figure it out. Love the Turbo Tax Donations import tool.

I've been using TurboTax for many years now and I continue to be pleased with the ease of use and now the added convenience of being able to download tax forms from the banks I use. TurboTax makes tax season stress free.
What's great about it: Easy to enter data and walk through all of the forms.
What's not so great: None

I would totally recommend this software to anyone. My whole family uses it and it makes it so much easier for all of us. It beats calculating the amounts ourselves,
What's great about it: It was very easy to use as you moved through the sections.
What's not so great: If you had to go back it sometimes did not save your information or it was confusing if you needed to change something.

Easy to Use

I usually prefer an accountant to prepare my taxes. However, money is tight. So I tried TT. It was really easy. For simple returns like ours, there is not much that can go wrong.
Even in my business schedule c calcuations, I was confident of the numbers since I have record of everything. Its really a matter of input!

Most tax preparers enter what you give them! TT looks for areas that might be a concern. So I really don't see how a preparer can add value.
What's great about it: Simple Straighforward, Easy to Maneuver
What's not so great: For simple returns, not many cons - honestly!

Filing Made Easy

I have been using Turbo Tax for years. It is the best preparation software. It is easy to use, accurate, and ensures confidence that your returns are correct.
What's great about it: Guides you through the tax filing process for Federal & State.
What's not so great: None
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)
