NO BANG

i AGAIN PAID TO USE THE STATE E-FILE BUT IT WOULDN'T GO THRU. STATED I NEEDED TO REVIEW MY STATE FILING BECASUE IT WOULDN'T TAKE CERTAIN FORMS. ALL I DID WAS ANSWER QUESTIONS AND I DIDN'T SEE ANY FORM. SO SOMETHING CAME THRU FROM THE FEDERAL SIDE AS AN EXTRA FORM BUT I COULND'T IDENTIFY THAT FORM THAT PREVENTED ME FROM E-FILING TO GET MY FUNDS BACK FASTER. I DIDN'T CAUSE THE PROBLEM BUT AGAIN TURBO TAX COULDN'T SHOW ME HOW TO RESOLVE THAT PROBLEM.
What's great about it: EASY USE
What's not so great: AGAIN THE STATE WOULDN'T TRANSMIT

This is the 8th year using Turbo Tax and I can't imagine paying someone to do it.

I have been using turbotax for the last 10 years and have found it to be helpful and accurate. I always get my refunds promptly and will continue to use it.

Very User Friendly!

Have used Turbo Tax for 9 years. Always a good experience and makes it less cumbersome to file taxes.
What's great about it: Easy to navigate and like the help feature.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Overall positive experience. Erroneous numbers pulled from previous year return at one point. No clear way in help section to report/correct this . Had to manually change figures. Previous year return was not altered or amended in any way after finalized and e-filed.
What's great about it: Easyguide steps, Form view
What's not so great: error in pulling previous year figure

I was worried due to the fact that this was our daughters first year at college....and we refinanced last year. All the extra issues that would,could arise on our taxes made both my wife and myself think outside service was the only way to go. But, I took the chance....took my time ....and TurboTax went step-by-step thru everything, that I feel extremely confident in our return.
