Good product

I have used Turbotax for several years now and I feel I have had an accurate return each time. Also this has really allowed me to learn about the tax system better which is something all American should learn about. The step-by-step directions really help to understand what I need and don't need and if there are some more unusual forms I get it explains them well and makes me confident I am completing my return in an accurate way and getting the best refund possible. The only thing I would say they could improve is the information about the state tax forms. I had to go online to get some questions answered because turbotax doesn't seem to have this type of information, mainly just the federal form information. If they could include this in the download for the particular state requested it would really help.
What's great about it: Is easy to navigate and get accurate information
What's not so great: The help section could be a bit easier to search for state info

Fast and Simple

did not provide separate areas for each of us filing married joint return to enter school district taxes held out on w2s. I had to add them together and enter one amount

Still the Best

Still comfortable after ten years of using Turbo Tax. Used two other services in parallel. You get the best results, and are easiest to deal with. One biggie didn't recognize a certain deduction as being allowable two years in a row. Don't know how folks using that program managed when overlooking it.
What's great about it: Directions are steady but could be honed
What's not so great: Sched B annoying

I've been using Turbo Tax for 11 years now and I think it is far superior to any other tax software. I have tried others but I keep coming back.
What's great about it: easiest, fastest way to do your taxes
What's not so great: nothing I have found yet

Had to use the download version

I have used the online version for several years - loved it, same income sources, didn't need to re-key data every year. This time I couldn't use it. It was so painfully slow I would have preferred doing my taxes on paper. Checked everything on my PC, all other apps ran fine, but Turbo-Tax just wouldn't move. Finally just bought the download, re-keyed everything.
What's great about it: It works, download is cheaper too
What's not so great: The online version had all my data, couldn't use it

Messages werent appropriate, ie when my refund amount went down, the message displayed started with "congratulations....
The customer service experience was very slow and required transfer to dept which was very slow. Information was not readily available....
