Made it easy!

I've been using Turbo Tax for about ten years now. Turbo Tax made it easy for someone like myself with a complicated return with many documents and deductions. The e-filing service is also excellent. On the downside, your Audit Defense service is not well reviewed, so I don't think many people will be interested in that. But overall, Turbo Tax is money well spent.
What's great about it: Easy to itemize deductions
What's not so great: Too many ads for software I didn't want.

Taxes one step at a time

I have used it for years. It is nice to have all the forms at your finger tips and Tubro Tax determines which ones you need.
What's great about it: Easy to Use, Error check is great
What's not so great: Long but that is not because of Turbo Tax but our taxes

BEST TAX SOFTWARE OUT THERE!

I have used TUBRO TAX for five years and as my tax problems grow I know that TUBRO is giveing me the best return that I can send in. I ALSO TESTED THEM A FEW YEARS AGO AND THEY WON!!!
What's great about it: THEY ARE VERY THROUGH
What's not so great: This year I asked a question online with Tubrotax and could'nt get an answer

Turbo Tax is improving but not quite there yet

California residents must submit a joint form requiring a federal joint form. This means a second federal single form must be prepared for each person. Storage in the program does not permit this. At least i found that single forms were overridden when i prepared the joint federal form causing me to have to go thru the procedure again to get it corrected.
What's great about it: The process is much improved in 2012 over 2011.
What's not so great: Instructions are very complicated still and I had to prepare the fax forms three times. Instructions must be improved.

User friendly, but I couldn't find the answers

Accessed the community tax support, but I couldn't find an answer to what, "total w/held payments" meant. Other users were asking the same questions from several months ago, so I gave up.
