I have used Turbo Tax for several years now and would never use anything else. It is very intuitive for helping one get their return prepared and submitted in a easy and timely fashion.

Fee misrepresentaion and program bug.

I felt there is a misrepresentation in purchasing your product. Advertisements ments and program CD case indicate "Plus Federal E-Filing. There is no mention of additional filing charges.
When attempting E-File, the final check kept asking for Employee and Employer Zip codes and states. My wife and I are RETIRED. WE filled in with our home address Zip and State to enable E-Filing to be accepted

Easy to Use But...

I work in Missouri but live in Illinois. The Turbo Tax Deluxe edition worked great for the federal and Missouri refunds but with our (my wife and I) Illinois return, Turbo Tax nearly missed one key tax credit. I only happended to catch it because I have always done our taxes myself. Since I work in Saint Louis, MO, I pay taxes to BOTH the state of Missouri and the city of Saint Louis. On our Illinois return, however, Turbo Tax only carried over credit for taxes paid to Missouri, NOT the ones paid to St Louis (though we had included them on our Missouri return). Our tax liability, had we not caught this omission would have been around $858... But since we added in credit for payments to St. Louis, our tax liability was $0. A big problem if you ask me!!! Overall, though, a great program. This was our only problem along the way.
What's great about it: Very User Friendly.
What's not so great: Missed one key tax credit

I would like to see more ditails on why turbotax recomend to use itemize deduction enstead of standar deductions and how this affects your taxes the following year.
What's great about it: I like tubotax because is easy to use.
What's not so great: need more examples or ditail.
