I have used Turbotax for at least 20 years and have found it very helpful. It keeps up with changing regulations. It provides all the forms you need. It gives helpful advice. E-file is wonderful. I have had occasion to use the online chat or phone help service. That has been extremely helpful.
What's great about it: It is - and has been for years - simply a great, easy-to-use program.
What's not so great: None that I can think of.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

made life so much easier with everything i had

as always made my life so much easier 2 get taxes done done in 1 hour so much easier than standing in line some where or doing all this the old way with pen paper and calculater
What's great about it: all done in an 1 hour
What's not so great: finding all the deductions 4 my boyfriend

I really like how it walks through each category so that nothing is missed. However, I feel things could be explained a little better for those people who don't have the tax lingo mastered.
What's great about it: I like how it walks you through each thing.

Made Sense of My Mess

I have used TurboTax every year since 2006 and love the speed, thoroughness, and accuracy. I have had no audits, no questions from the IRS, and no difficulties figuring out what to print, what to mail, etc. The depth of the questions on each topic mean I have no fear that I will miss out on some obscure tax credit. I've recommended it to friends and family for years, and for the first time my 70+ year old mother is using it because our state now requires her to e-file. Quick and easy!
What's great about it: Explained other tax payments well
What's not so great: Took me forever to realize a date was entered in wrong format

While the program is very detailed, it does take a while to go through the entire program. This is because TurboTax looks for every deduction it can possibly find. I really enjoy using this program.

Taxes made easier

We have used this for the last 5 years, used it on the kids returns and now they expect that free Fed filing every year. Have used it for tax filing for MLP's, Trusts, and Foreign Taxes on dividends. TurboTax doesn't miss a thing and makes it so easy. That's why we keep coming back, year after year.
What's great about it: If you have used it in the past, it doesn't take much to update.
What's not so great: Wish they would explain a deduction loss due to tax law changes.

Luv how easy it is!

I use to do my taxes (and those of my family) by hand, then use the TT software to make sure I agreed with their calculations. I've come to trust Turbo Tax with my taxes, as well as my family's. A very reliable product!
What's great about it: Can always be sure that your forms are up to date.
What's not so great: Can't think of one!
