Easy to use!

I'll keep on coming back and using TurboTax because it make my life easy when it comes to taxes.
What's great about it: Walks me through each step.
What's not so great: Would like click on explanations for every item.

I've been using TurboTax for years, and I just can't imagine anything else being easier. Don't think I'll ever do my taxes a different way.

I've used TurboTax for many years and love it. Couldn't be easier. Why use a tax service???
What's great about it: Importing last year's data, asking questions, applying to correct line and form.

Instrumental in making sure my returns accurate

Definitely a very good tool for tax returns.
It has helped me year over year filing my taxes.

In my mind, It will be better if better guided interface is provided related what needs to be reported on foreign bank accounts.
What's great about it: Ease of use. Built in reviews.
What's not so great: Costs more every year and not very clear which Turbotax version is best

TurboTax has gone downhill

I have used TurboTax to prepare my federal and state returns for 10 years, and have always been pleased in the past. This year, however, was not the same. The federal software is as good as ever, but the CA software did not provide an interview capability for CA540NR which is what I file every year. This is different from previous years where TurboTax would lead me through everything. I had to use the forms capability to complete my return which frankly detracts greatly from its usefulness. Why was the interview eliminated for CA540NR????
What's great about it: Easy Step interview for federal return is good
What's not so great: The California software is not adequate for people who are part-time residents

Easy to use, and thorough

I have used TurboTax for more than five years. It is always easy to use, yet thorough in its coverage of identifying income and important credits and deductions. It is very likely I will be a return customer next year. My only complaint is the fee to e-file the state tax return. It is too high. You certainly do not benefit much at all by paying such a ridiculous amount of money for a twenty second, electronic process.
