Dependable and Easy to Understand

I have used Turbo Tax for probably 20 years. I have done returns for the whole family since my children were teens. It is easy to understand and well documented. You can use the question and answer format or look around on your own and having last year's figures helps you remember what things you need to cover.
The only problem I had this year was starting to enter an auto for a small business, then realizing I just needed to enter the actual business costs. i had trouble getting rid of the auto used for business form. I kept going back and changing my answers but the form still showed up on final review

What's great about it: Turbo Tax cover all the basics one needs to prepare their taxes, including explanations if one is unsure of an answer.
What's not so great: Only one thing, trying to go back and change somethng can be hard.

Turbotax, My favorite for years

Turbotax is easy for me to use and I have used it for about 5 yrs. If you have all your info ready, you should be able to complete your taxes, even with deductions in a couple of hrs or less. It asks all the right questions, so that you get all the refunds due you, that is, if you punch in the numbers correctly. I Plan to use Turbotax for years to come.
I had a problem, called customer service and they corrected it, with no hesitation.

What's not so great: paid for e-filing state and after paying turbotax informed I couldnt e-file

Biggest Refund ever!

I have used TT for years, but this year I utilized every step by step, and the Community blog for answers! Very easy to do.
What's great about it: So easy especially in new territories for me. I had residential energy credits, re-fi mortgage, charity contrib's, etc
What's not so great: Just the big charge for transmitting State and taking it out of my refund. So I didn't choose that option.

I use TurboTax every year and it make doing my taxes painless (if that can be possible...lol) ! Love that it checks for errors and is VERY comprehensive ! Thanks !

I thought this was fixed by an update from Microsoft. My husband printed his after a second update was received, but a few weeks later (today), mine won't print. I will go to Customer Service to see what help they can give.
What's not so great: Could not print returns.
