I love Turbo Tax

Had trouble for the first time this year

I am a big Turbo Tax fan and have been using it for as long as I can remember. This is the first time I was let down by the programing of the application. Got caught in a trap with the entry of tax exempt dividends and could not get out for a long time. The help info was of little or no help. Seemed to talk mostly about on-line filing, and not the PC version. The problem seems to be that if you type 0 into the tax exempt box the program wants more info, but will not accept $0. Thereafter strange things happened, making up new table entries that I could not erase and stuff like that. I finally realized that the original input sheet wanted blank, not 0. Seems like an easy programing change to make it work either way.
But to put it in perspective, this is the first time something like this happened in over 20 years of using Turbo Tax. I guess I expected better from my old friend!
What's great about it: Been using Turbo Tax for Years with great success
What's not so great: Got caught in frustrating program loop and the help was no help
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

I have used Turbo Tax every year for six years. I get the biggest refunds with Turbo Tax. Before that, I had to pay an accountant to do my taxes, and I had to pay taxes every year.
I am very happy with Turbo Tax, because you don't have to know anything about tax preparation to use it.

What's great about it: Turbo Tax doesn't miss a deduction, gets you everything you're entitled to.
What's not so great: Had to pay extra to e-file my state.

This was by far the easiest tax return that I've filed in the past 15 years. The new format was easy, intuitive and logical.
With the new format -with over 15 years practice with TurboTax -and with a little advance document preparation- I completed our taxes in less than 2 hours.

I have been using Turbo Tax for years to e-file my federal and state return. We are able to itemize and it is so incredibly easy! I feel confident in Turbo Tax and love the convenience! I highly recommend using Turbo Tax every year!

LUVIN TURBO TAX!!!

this is my second year filing through turbo tax and the experience is still great....looking forward to next year tax season.
What's great about it: reviews, audit support , calculations
What's not so great: only one person gets guaranteed 7 days return from deluxe program purchase even though it has 5 e-files
