Even a cave man can understand Turbo Tax

Once you have all your records gathered, Turbo Tax takes the "pain" out of filing your taxes. It helps make a rather complicated task much easier....almost hassle-free!

Never a hitch

I've used Turbo Tax since at least 1997. I love the way it makes that task a matter of one thing at a time. I can pause at any point, either to take a break or to gather necessary information. It always seems to take less time than I expect.
This year I finished and filed early. Turned out not to be a good year to do that, because of late updates and a problem with MN state returns. But even with all that I'm completely satisfied with my experience.
What's great about it: Ease of use, accuracy

A confidence builder

I've been using Turbo Tax for about 6-7 years and the first time was a bit daunting but over the years, Turbo Tax has become easier because the confidence I have acquired by using it. I've used the program when I sold and bought a new house and Turbo Tax walked me thru it. Kudos to Turbo Tax. I bought and sold some stock with the same degree of confidence in Turbo Tax, I was not worried about getting it thru the IRS. Right now, my returns have became simple and with Turbo Tax, it's easier to file, get the refund from both from the Feds and the State. By keeping a copy of your returns, from previous years, on your computer, Turbo Tax will use the data from those previous use to aid you in filling out the current year. This is a great memory aid from years to years - it helps you to prevent you from forgetting deductions and income from year to year.
What's great about it: They leave nothing to chance

Have used Turbo Tax for several years mostly because I am not a math dweeb nor computer agile. However, this year the last process to make complete copies and then e-file seemed more complicated and not the easy clearly defined instructions that I had been used to prior. Got frustrated trying to figure out what forms from the large selection to print . Sometimes too much info is not a good thing. Over all I do love the listings and information to respond to regarding income and deductions. Very thorough , including some suggestions I would have forgotten about.
What's great about it: The step by step easy pathway is stress-free !
What's not so great: The final several steps was more convoluted

Smooth and steady

I have tried to use other programs like Turbo Tax but always seem to come back to the Turbo Tax family after getting frustrated with how the "others" write their software. Hands down this is the best way of doing your taxes on your own.
What's great about it: no time limit to get info, ease of use, clarification of legal terms
What's not so great: non

Have been using turbo tax for years and I feel very comfortable doing my own taxes with it because it does all the hard parts.
What's great about it: the way it walks you through everything
What's not so great: sometimes it doesn't find something when type in something to find even though I know it is there someplace

Easy to use!!!

Overall, a breeze doing taxes this way. Without TurboTax, I would be spending a lot of wasted time trying to remember things that the program easily reminds you to complete.
I have used TurboTax for years and the calculations have always been correct.
I trust it will give me the best return possible.
