Excellent program for the do-it-yourself person

Good Program for the do-it-yourself person. Collect all the necessary information before using Turbo Tax and it will save you much time. Turbo Tax is a much better program that some I have used - including last years. You get what you pay for.
What's great about it: covers all major categories
What's not so great: need more detail in major categories

What's great about it: very easy to understand; i love that it triple checks for errors; it gives you the BEST choice for your situation

Taxes finally simplified

This program was very easy to use. It used common sense to fill out the various forms. It required very little help that was available if needed.
I liked the way it used common sense to pre fill many areas. Great layout of information
What's great about it: Very easy to use
What's not so great: Can be a little difficult to go back and change things

I LOVE turbo Tax. I can do my taxes in my pajamas after the kids go to bed. NO appointments, no wasted time and there is always someone available on-line to answer any questions I might be certain of. This is by far the best way to do taxes!
What's great about it: It is so fast to go through all of the questions
What's not so great: nothing
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

You Made It Easy, Dudes!

I'm almost giddy at this moment, having just finished my federal and state taxes for 2012! After a 10-year hiatus from doing my own taxes, I took on the task again this year, for a variety of reasons--and I took it on with great trepidation. BUT...I am pleased to report that this year's tax filing process with TurboTax Deluxe was almost a pleasure (but we are talking about taxes here, so I won't get carried away). Their step-by-step guidance was thorough and easy. No item that I needed to input was overlooked, and additional information,if needed, proved helpful at each turn. Their prompts were excellent! This is a terrific five-star product.
If I had to come up with one con, it would be that when I left a page to supply additional information, I would return to the page to find myself in a different location from where I needed to be, cumulatively requiring much additional scrolling. For example, when I inserted a new charity into what would become our long charity list, I was always returned to the top of the page, not to the bottom of the page where the box "Add another charity" was located. I had to scroll from top to bottom each time I wanted to add a new charity, and this was an inefficient setup. I hope this will be corrected in 2013.
Conclusion: I would recommend TurboTax to anyone who does his or her own taxes!
What's great about it: Your step-by-step approach through each and every category was stunningly easy to follow.
What's not so great: One con: having to scroll back down each time a new entry was made
