I depend on TurboTax to think of items (income, deductions, etc.) that I may forget, and to handle the bewildering calculations of Schedule D accurately!
What's great about it: Thinks of everything!
What's not so great: Watch what you ask to have printed...may be too many pages!

I love using turbo tax to do my taxes I have used this program for many years now. I did once try another program and returned it only to purchase turbo taxes.

Made the job easy

All works very well, except the charitable deductions. They are locked in the order in which they are entered from one year to the next. It would make the job much easier if they could be sorted down to keep them in some reasonable order as they are entered or after they are entered.
What's great about it: Love the question/answer review, easy to use
What's not so great: We have lots of charitable deductions - need to be able to sort them

Is the best way to do your taxes for the best price and would recommend it to everyone.
What's great about it: walked me through all the possible deductions and double checked every thing for errors
What's not so great: some areas that didn't apply to me were a bit confusing but they got me thuough it

This years Turbo Tax was easier to use. I had less trouble understanding what was needed.
What's great about it: Simple and straight forward.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)
