What's great about it: Easy to use
What's not so great: none
Pros: I moved, My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Some areas were difficult to understand even after reading the help section. We lived in 2 different states this year and were confused on some things we should enter.
What's great about it: Mostly quick and easy.
What's not so great: Some areas were hard to understand.

I tell everyone don't pay anyone to do your taxes for you! Once you try Turbo Tax you will wonder what took you so long. I like the risk rating feature and the quick and easy new form uploads. I feel very confident that I have done my taxes correctly with all the automatic checks and reviews in the system. Peace of mind is worth every penny!
What's great about it: Walks you through every step, even a child could do it!
What's not so great: No Cons - Happy camper

I found the TurboTax experience to be excellent. I feel my tax return is complete and do not have to worry that I missed something completing the forms manually (without the interview questions to guide me).
What's great about it: I love the step by step process and how you have integrated the human intelligence of a tax preparer into the software.
What's not so great: I don't have any cons for the software.

frustration

This has been the case for the past 7 or 8 years. I am M A and my daughter is M with the same last name. Your program never accepts both for stored info.I am a retired banker and detailed about my taxes. Your program is frustrating lately in the continuous prompting to sell more products or assist. When we buy a program, we ought to be able to use it as we chose. It is time consuming and interrupts trains of thought.
I was also marketed to buy my NC tax filing when it was part of my original purchase. Is this also a market ploy?do NOT PLACE THIS ON FACEBOOK!

What's great about it: detailed completion
What's not so great: refuses to store my daughter and my returns bedause my middle initial is ignored in the saved ecords

a little confusing

I,ve used turbo tax for over 10 years now. I use to do taxes long hand on my own. I,ve noticed over the last couple of years that some of the sections seem to overlap with the same topics and turbo tax doesn't do a good job of clarifying the income or deduction.
What's great about it: covers general areas
What's not so great: some areas are not defined well
