Turbo Tax 2012

I have been using Turbo Tax since 1997. Last year I could easily transfer information from my financial institution, but not so this year. I had to enter all the information. Bummer!
What's great about it: The best was transferring tax information from last year's return and and the ease of filing the return.
What's not so great: The worst was not being able to transfer information from a financial institution without purchasing the Premier version

Use of TurboTax Deluxe 2012

I have used Turbo Tax for at least 15 yrs. I find it to be very easy to navigate and make entries. I appreciate the ability to automatically download financial information for investment companies.
I also appreciate that Turbo Tax carries forward relevant information to the next tax year automatically.
I wish they would find a way to reduce the cost of the Deluxe program CD.
What's great about it: Easy to use.
What's not so great: Cost. Programming errors for state of MN.
Pros: I bought or sold investments

I've used TurboTax for decades and am still very happy with the results. The addition of Q&A forums allows for a very quick response to questions from individuals like myself.
What's great about it: Step-By-Step Guidance makes it easy to identify info.

2012 TurboTax Deluxe

I've been using TurboTax (Deluxe) versions since 1990. Over the years the interface and help information has been easier and easier to use even though my tax situation has been getting more and more complex. Like 2010 and 2011, the 2012 interface is very similar. It's easy to import the previous year's tax info the current product. Since 2005, I've basically just explore on my own and don't need to use the interview process.
What's great about it: Well organized, easy to find forms, good help information
What's not so great: Filing Taxes is still like visiting the dentist - TurboTax will never be able to change that...

TurboTax Improves with age

I have used TurboTax for over a decade, every year the program gets more detailed in its explainations without increasing the complexity of use. They do a great job researching tax laws for Fed and State. I've never had an issue with a tax filing. The reviews prior to filing are very thorough, recommendations about deductions are extremely detailed. In the event something dosen't make sense the help experts are more than qualified to explain so you can understand. I wish all products worked this well and had such a knowledgable help team!!!!
What's great about it: Better explainations of why and why not on deductions
What's not so great: Can't think of anything

LOVE THIS PROGRAM

I HAVE USED THIS PROGRAM EVERY SINCE I GOT A COMPUTER WHICHIS ABOUT 20 YEARS NOW. BEFORE THEN I DID THEM BY HAND. I DO A LOT OF MY FAMILIES AND FRIENDS TAXES ALSO SO I USE THIS A LOT. THANKS FOR THE WONDERFUL PROGRAM.
What's great about it: WALKS YOU RIGHT THROUGH EVERYTHING
What's not so great: NOTHING
