SIMPLY AWESOME

I love Turbo Tax. This year there seems to be all kinds of ads for products that claim they can help to do your taxes. But I know when I file using Turbo Tax, the information and reviewing of my input will be done correct the first time. I trust them and have for the last 3 years. I wouldn't trust any other product. This is too important to trust to any product just because they say they are easy and accurate.
What's great about it: FAST, EFFICIENT, EASY TO FOLLOW, DOUBLE CHECKS WORK, CONFIDENT INFORMATION IS CORRECT
What's not so great: NONE THAT I CAN THINK OF.

Pleasurable Experience

Overall experience was fine. Took too long to handle questions in community. Tax expert was able to quickly resolve issue once I got to them. I will be using this software again. Thanks.
What's great about it: Phone contact with tax expert when a question arose.
What's not so great: Wait time on phone to speak with someone about tax question and was sent to person handling software.

Just missed five stars

I had the "tax exempt dividend" problem that lots of other people had. I had no tax exempt dividends, but kept getting an "error" when the fed return was checked that asked for a State ID under the exempt dividend heading. I tried deleting all the zeros I had entered, but the form still came up asking for the State ID for the non-existing exempt dividend. I then deleted the interest and dividend section and re-entered - still 2 errors. Finally, when the error form came up, I noticed that even there was nothing in the Name of Co. column, and nothing in the third column, there were zeros (which Turbotax had entered). I deleted them and there was no error in the return. Lots of wasted time on my part - looking up the problem and reading everyone else's (same) problems and possible solutions (none of which worked, except telling me to erase the zeros on the form I filled out was a start. PLEASE FIX THIS ON THE 2013 form.

Another year....

It wanted me to pay for State....It was supposed to be included in the Deluxe version that I bought. So I was going to uninstall and reinstall but there was a 'repair' that intercepted....worked for me! And in seconds I was back on track....but the getting there was frustrating in thinking that I'd already paid for the program and thought I would have to pay again.
What's great about it: Makes me think by asking pertinent questions.
What's not so great: Thought I had to d/l it again...

Great Program

The Turbo Tax program has been my tax software of choice for many many years. It provides a simple guided approach so that nothing can be inadvertently omitted. Showing the previous years report next to this years return, ensures that nothing is overlooked. I would strongly recommend this program to anyone.
What's great about it: Easy, guided, approach that made sure that every possible tax situation was addressed.
