easy to use and makes filing taxes a breeze.

Iike that it's easy to use and I can have my taxes doe and filed in a couple of hours. All I have to do is just answer a few question and turbotax does all the rest for me.
What's great about it: very user friendly
What's not so great: slow to up load

There is something to optimizing the speed and accuracy of preparation for the preparer but also for the entities receiving millions of returns annually. These are low-touch transactions between parties in most cases and tools like Turbo Tax help.
What's great about it: Dependable and Intuitive in my fourth year of complicated filings for family.
What's not so great: I still wish E-filing for states were free.

I have been using Turbo Tax since 2003 and it just seems to get easier and quicker every year. It walks you thru all your deductions. Really love the review ability and the audit defense. E-filing makes this the perfect tax program for the do it yourself-er!

Good for family taxes

Been using TurboTax for years. Never so important to me as now with all my kids now out of school and employed in diverse locations. I am able to do all our taxes now with ease and inexpensively.
What's great about it: Transfers all pertinent data to new year for all my kids

After saving the file, it lost info for second state return and would not correctly update the return when opening the file via TurboTax start. If I updated the return by opening the previously saved-file which opened TurboTax then it correctly updated and resaved.
It was very frustrating
