The Only Way to do Taxes!

I have used Turbo Tax for several years and it has never let me down. This year the down loads from a financial institution were a little quirky, but I don't know how much of that was Turbo Tax and how much was my financial institution. For whatever reason it double entered everything and I had to scrap the return and begin a new one. I will be using Turbo Tax again next year and recommend it to all my friends.
What's great about it: Very easy to use with plain language explanations. Transferring info from previous year is a very nice touch.
What's not so great: Slow on start up. Continuous updates right up to the last minute.

Easy Taxes

Great and usually easy to understand and fill out. Do it year after year and a lot is already filled out for you. Some of the errors were not understandable as what was being asked to change with no explanation.
What's great about it: Easy to use
What's not so great: Some error messages not understood-no explanation

As we get older, Turbo Tax gets easier. You would think it would be the other way around. Thx for being so much better than anyone else!

We have used Turbo Tax for four years- we love the ease of use, ability to e-file, and the fact that they check everything at the end to optimize our return.
What's great about it: Easy to use, great explanations!
What's not so great: It's tax time!
