Wow!

This version of Turbo Tax was excellent. It was very easy to use and the transfer of data from previous years was great. It was helpful to have experience with this product, but not required. If you are familiar with completing tax returns, you can really gleam more out of it.l
What's great about it: Easy to use.
What's not so great: None
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

I have been using Turbo Tax for several years and have always found that it is easy to use, reliable and I can trust that the end result will be correct.
What's great about it: Step by step guidelines or you can select where you want to go
What's not so great: Some default questions are a bit redundant

Confident in Return Accuracy

Step by step guidance makes it clear that TurboTax is like having a tax return specialist right there with you and helps you ensure your return is accurate!
What's great about it: The excellent guidance builds confidence in return accuracy and ease in filing

Problems

I file on a Mac. Maybe that's the problem. I had huge problems getting the errors in my return fixed (program would not accept changes). Valuation of donations was very glitchy (works best to hit control before entering items, but no instructions to that effect).
What's great about it: Still better than an accountant
What's not so great: new problems i didn't have years past

The only concern that i had is it never gave me the confidence that i could leave the program and return without losing everythould have ing that i had already done. , so I was bent on finishing before i shut down my computer.
What's great about it: I liked the fact that it rtried not to allow me to make a mistake.
What's not so great: Some of the explanations of the purpose of a field or question were not very helpful.

easy, accurate

I have used Turbo Tax for a number of years. I do my own personal taxes, the kids taxes and even my friend's taxes.
It is the only tax prep program I feel confident in using.
What's great about it: straight-forward questions, easy to understand
