Being a user of Turbo Tax since the 90's, I have appreciated the constant improvements in the user interface and now find Turbo Tax effortless to navagate. I have never has a problem or tax situations crop up that Turbo Tax could not solve. I have also taken my tax work sheet after having filed using Turbo Tax to have one of those free tax reviews. The review came up $2.00 differnt and it would have cost me more than $200.00 to have filed with that tax preparer. Bravo Turbo Tax.
What's great about it: It is always great to start by loading relevent info from last year

Used Turbo Tax for Many Years

I have been using this product for a long time and I have been doing my whole family's tax return for more than half the price it would cost us individually. I have taught many of my friends and co worker how to use this product. They are all so surprise to see how easy this is. Some are still using this product and some have gone to a cheaper product.
What's great about it: I like that you simply answer questions and it fill in the information in the tax form.
What's not so great: I wish it was more affordable.

Turbo Tax is so simple, I love that it can check for any errors and it lets you know right away what you are missing.

I have filed w turbo tax for years ,this year because anyone can file using anyones ssn i have to deal direct w the IRS and send more sensitine info through the mail .
turbo people didndt offer any software refuund or any help except get a form and send to the IRS ,i spoke with them and it will be MONTHS before this is resolved .
Not using turbo tax again!!!

What's great about it: Used this for years and now ID STOLEN because turbo tax is not secure
What's not so great: Smeone used turbo tax and filed a return in my name !!
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Find it generally user friendly, with clear questions that anyone can understand. Am an accountant and would never try to file my taxes with out it!
What's great about it: Easy to use and understand
What's not so great: Sometimes a little confusing to go back and look at something.

Best DIY tax software on the market!

TurboTax can download most tax information right from the companies the tax documents came from. Saved a lot of time by not having to type everything in manually. The onscreen instruction is easy to follow and the "double check" and "audit risk" assessment allowed//s me to sleep better at night. The only thing I can find lacking is that it would be helpful if there was another scroll bar between the side bar and the worksheet area that separated the twp. I have used TurboTax for years and often recommend it to friends and family.
What's great about it: Easy to follow, reliable, and accurate software.
What's not so great: Screen layout could use a little work.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

I think turbo tax is a really good investment to have, it make filing taxes really easy and fast. Beats seating in the buildings where kids are crying, people are loud. It's very person and can be done in the privacy of your home.
What's great about it: to be able to call and get someone in a hurry
What's not so great: really did not see anything the i did not like
