Quick and Painless

I usually like to be very independent when it comes to finances but with something as complicated and important as taxes it's nice to have a program that provides a second set of eyes to what you're filing. It does a great job of explaining any question it asks as well as helping you to skip unnecessary sections. Overall, a wonderful choice for tax prep and with something as important as taxes, why risk doing it alone?

The price increases are causing me to reconsider each year and look at the competition.
Skip the cardboard box and CD's - they aren't worth producing as one needs the update to do anything. Make the product cheaper and common price, download available. It is frustrating to have to shop for the best deal only to find a better one just after purchasing.
What's great about it: Downloads, import past records
What's not so great: AMT isn't clean and clear; K-1's need to match companies downloads better

Didn't miss a thing!

TurboTax is quick and easy to use, has answers to all your questions, and puts you in control of completing your own tax returns. Only drawback this year (I've used TurboTax for at least the last 7 years), was that the program didn't bring back to exactly where I left off when returning to work on a tax return at a later time. But after re-answering a few questions, I was back where I left off. I still felt comfortable and confident in using TurboTax though.
What's great about it: Quick and easy to use.
What's not so great: Didn't return me back to where I left off whenever I continued working on my returns at a later time.

Tackled my Taxes!

Why would you have someone else do your taxes when it's this easy? TurboTax is made to tackle most peoples tax situations and if you have a odd question there is always the forums. The forum takes a little additional time awaiting a response but otherwise it is quick and easy.
What's great about it: Quick, easy, descriptive, empowering
What's not so great: Most but not all questions have relevant answers

Easy to use program

I have used Turbo Tax for probably 10 years now, and love it. It prompts me with questions so I don't miss anything - either reporting income or maximizing my deductions. I find it very easy to use and relatively stress-free to file my taxes.
What's great about it: I like being prompted with questions so I don't miss anything

Complex returns

The question and answer method of providing information is thorough but time consuming. In the end the process makes an extremely difficult task managable. Which brings me to another point. The tax code has become so unmanagable that a computer program is necessary to determine how much of my property the Government is entitled to take.
What's great about it: Relatively easy to use and can handle relatively complex returns
What's not so great: Help and explanations are to breif.

Tax headache asprin

I would recommend Turbo Tax to anyone! Used it last year to do my taxes on my own for the first time. I will never use anything else. It is so simple and straight forward to use. My parents are using it this year after I told them about it.
What's great about it: Ease of use, guided instructions and clear explanations of tax questions.
What's not so great: The state e-file fee is not included
