The program does all calculations and looks for tax savings as well as clarification of income items. I especially like the ability to look at forms and have the option to work on the form rather than the guided questions only.
I would like the program to present IRA opportunites as a prompt to consider. It would be disappointing to miss opportunities because they were overlooked.

Sad but Thorough

I have been using Turbo Tax continuosly to prepare my Tax returns since 2006 and I have never been disappointed. Sure, this is the first year since that I've had to pay but that's because I don't own a home. Still, it gives me peace of mind knowing that I can count on Turbo Tax to review every possible avenue for deductions. It makes me feel that I've done the best I can to complete my returns. Thank you Turbo Tax.
What's great about it: Took me step by step with clear guidance.
What's not so great: I had to pay...boo hoo.

A multi time user hates taxes, but loves Turbo Tax

I have been using Turbo Tax for a number of years, and have always found it easy. We moved to a new state this year, and it was just as easy as ever. I'm an old guy, and not all that computer literate, but was able to transfer last year's return from another to computer to our new one, and had no problems at all.
What's great about it: Easy to use for the non-MBA's among us.
What's not so great: Taxes!

turbo tax allows me to complete my taxes without the fear of forgetting something or not being aware of tax law changes since its always up to date and has " explain this " tabs for more detail. I trust my tax forms are complete and accurate with all the checks and double checks. The e-file option is awesome, if I could get you to make my payment for me you would move from awesome to the BOMB!!!!

Have used Turbo Tax for years and would not choose any other software. Easy Guides help get you through the process simply. There are "pop-up" help windows throughout the program, so help is never more than a few clicks away.
