Great application but questions wording needs works, it was not confesing at times to know what is the question or what you are trying to do.

Getting better

Sometimes gets stuck during the error check and keeps asking for items that are needed. One example that comes to mind is for a mistake that I made by saying that my car was a business expense that I started using in the middle of the year. I went back to correct the problem several times and it continued to pop up during the error check. Eventually, I just deleted the deduction and reentered the data. But it was a lot of aggravation just to save about $10.
What's great about it: Two of my MLP has forms that could be imported.
What's not so great: Gets stuck in a loop during the error check / three of my MLP's didn't have importation capability

Long time coming..but finally finished my return!!

I've used Turbo Tax for several years (how long has it been available???) Its been that long!! This year I am being audited for 2010 due to deductions taken that year that caused a red flag. I did not select the Audit Defense and am going up against the IRS alone. It helps me that all my information and tax forms are safely stored on my computer and were easily accessible/retreivable. The supporting data I entered was there on the calculation tax sheets for me.
What's great about it: Shows refund for FED & STATE as you go
What's not so great: Sometimes difficult to find exact spot where you need to go on a return

I did 2 tax returns with Turbo-tax for 2012. They were for my daughter that's a college student and myself. It helped find the maximum refund for my return. It also, helped with my daughter for some income that she got and needed to file a return for. Thank you Turbo-tax!
What's great about it: Maximizes refund, able to use for 2 family members
What's not so great: Some shortcuts are needed to speed things up
