What's great about it: Easy-quick-fast
What's not so great: none

I've used TurboTax for more than 10 years. I love that I start my return with a lot of the key information already filled in. Even as my tax situation has gotten more complex, it's remained very easy and intuitive to use. Love it!
What's great about it: Easy. Keeps data year over year.
What's not so great: Sometimes I have to slightly interpret what is being asked

I am really glad that I used Turbo Tax. My father was an IRS agent for 30 years and used it in his retirement, and he recommended this for me. It really speeds up the tax ! I will use this every year!
What's great about it: Helped guide me through the process in a very timely matter.
What's not so great: A lot of information that did not apply to me right now, but may in the future.

Consistently Great and Easy 7 years running

I've been using Turbo Tax for both federal and state at least 7 years now and every year it seems to get easier. Walking you through every deduction...they even give you the MAXIMUM DEDUCTION GUARANTEE. I purchased the audit defense because my ex wife tends to duplicate things that I'm deducting for the kids so this year...or if they decide to audit me again I will have an agent of Turbo Tax defending me.
I like the face of it. My heartbeat was steady the whole way doing taxes this year and I think my state taxes took a whole of 5 minutes once I finished federal. Quick, easy, and I feel very comfortable with the result.
What's great about it: Easy walk through no stress
What's not so great: I haven't found any cons

Easier than going to a paid preparer

As a volunteer preparer for seniors, I use a different program, but still purchase TurboTax for my personal use.
What's great about it: Fast, easy to folliow for any level of expertise
