First time I used Deluxe. Last ten years I used basic. As I
am retired I do not many deductions. Hence I do not find
much difference between two. Any I like Turbotax and I will
keep on using as long as i will afford it.

What's great about it: Excellent, efficient and cost saving

Not Too Bad (top compliment back in Minnesota!!)

I have used Turbo Tax for many years, and each year it gets a bit better. I daily use a large variety of computer applications, and compared to uncooperative and annoying programs like W__D, Turbo Tax is a cuddle-bunny. I sailed through my Federal and State tax returns in only a few hours with only one problem where I had to "trick" Turbo Tax to get past its review of the completed tax return. I haven't tried other tax programs because I am satisfied with this one.
What's great about it: Very user friendly
What's not so great: Not easy to get help for a tough problem.

Easy Reconfigure

I have used TurboTax since 1997, and have been very happy with the program.
What's great about it: When changing an item that affects both state & federal Turbotax takes care of both
What's not so great: I had a problem E-filing. It wouldn't let me continue without going to Intuit website & manually updating my program

Turbo Tax Deluxe

Turbo tax will track your Roth IRA basis. It is optional and not required for filing, but the text wasn't real clear about that.
I like the way it is organized by categories and the simple question answer format. The ability to get more information when I needed it was also nice.
What's great about it: E-File 2 returns and one state. Easy to answer questions.
What's not so great: IRA basis question was optional but that wasn't obvious.
