I have worked for H&R Block, one year I used Tax Act and I have been using turbo tax for the past 7 years and there is no comparison.
What's great about it: It is as easy as ABC
What's not so great: By answering the intro questions that one's situation did not change certain questions should not be asked/eliminated .

This version is missing the part where you separate your state bond funds from your total bond funds. Because this is missing many people will pay more state tax than they should. This should have been addressed by Turbo Tax, as many people complained in the forums about this. There is a workaround, which a user came up with in the forum, but Turbo Tax should be addressing this, not a user. Turbo Tax, you owe us a partial refund for making us manually use a user submitted workaround, this made filling out our taxes MUCH harder than it should have been.

I've used TurboTax for many years, and it continues to be easy, clear, and simple to follow. This year, I needed to make some changes, and finding the location, making the changes, and seeing the corrections--simple.
Only complaint is the cost of the State e-file. Given that this all happens electronically, it should be free or a very nominal charge--$5.00 max. I resent the cost, even though I pay it. I have actually looked into other software because of this, but come back to TT, as I'm so familiar with it. One day, however, I will make the change to a less expensive product.
What's great about it: Sooo easy to follow and complete
What's not so great: Cost of State e-file.

WOW is the word for REFUND with TurboTAX

I have been using Turbo Tax for years now and am constantly impressed with its ease and usefulness. Makes such a pain in the --- chore a whole lot easier.
What's great about it: walked with me every step of the way
What's not so great: sometimes hard to go back to pages to make changes

Anyone can use this product. It walks you through step by step. I was able to get deductions I know I've missed in the past using a CPA. Initial updates take a while. After first updates it is super fast.
What's great about it: Anyone can use it!
What's not so great: initial updates take forever
Pros: I had a baby, My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

My Taxes

This is the second year that we have used the product and I looked forward to this year as I knew the softwear would pull in my info from last year. This made things MUCH faster and easier for sure. The product is well designed and we liked the walk through approach it takes. Thanks again!!

TurboTax is the best

I've used Turbotax for years. It's easy to use. Found a glitch when entering K-1 info. I inadvertently hit one of the down arrow letters and could not then delete it or back out of it. I also could not log into my account even after resetting password. Otherwise everything ok.
What's great about it: Easy to use
What's not so great: Couldn't log into my account

Outstanding way to do taxes

Turbo Tax is the only way to do income taxes. I have used Turbo Tax for the last 10 years with confidence that my return is correct every time.
