Great tool

Turbo tax keeps getting better every year. It is just very easy to get around. I saved my return and came back a few days later to enter additional information. I used the search feature by entering Real Estate taxes and it came up with exactly the window to enter that information. The information was inserted from last years Turbo tax software which gives you a great start. It's just way too cool. Keep up the good work.

What's not so great: Man, I just can't find any

Some items asked for (for electronic filing???) addresses of charities?. Really?
Nice connection from Federal to State return!!
Will see if e-filing goes as well this year as last.. if so, kudos!
What's great about it: After 10+ years of using, knew what to expect

I waisted more paper than I care to mention. Some parts, HCC for example, were very confusing. I believe I have submitted by mail a penalty re Health Ins. and I should not be fined as I have plenty of coverage.
Also I was unable to file electronically; it kept stating I needed updates, yet there were none.
Preparing taxes is frustrating enough.

What's great about it: step by step guidance although I could not change HCC info.
What's not so great: I could not file electronically either tax form, yet no update was available
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Turbo Tax is Easy

Remembering ID and password is a pain when charging the state filing fee to my credit card, had to change to a different email address.

We have used Turbo Tax for several years now. We like the convenience. Since our finances are pretty basic, we feel like we are getting just as good of service as we would through a tax prep company. We also like the price comparison between it and a tax prep company.
What's great about it: Transfers info from last year
What's not so great: Wish price of efiling state was in with the cost of purchasing product at store

Have used successfully for many years. This year seemed even better and easier to use, particularly the Missouri State filing.

Worked very well, especially with clergy taxes

I have not done my own taxes for years because I've heard how difficult clergy taxes can be. However, the CPA I was using wasn't getting me the refund that TurboTax did and it automatically asked about my housing allowance. Excellent! I will be doing my own taxes with TurboTax from here on out!
