Easier Every year!!

I have use this product sine the Macintax days...many years ago. It only gets better! The questions asked are clear and I am questioned about things I never would have thought of!.
I would never think of doing my taxes with any other product
What's great about it: Clear, concise, step-by-step

Always a big help.

There is little recourse if something unusual comes up.
For example, I can't e-file the state because it said I am not using the calender year and yet I am. I tried but could not find the source of the problem.
By and large I am familiar with TurboTax and feel comfortable using it. Have used it for many years.

What's great about it: Guides you through and also transfers info to state return.
What's not so great: Interview questions sometime confusing.

Self-employed? No problem!

With two different self-employment sources, our taxes are a pain. TurboTax simplified our filing and took most of the pain away. Now, if they'd just pay the taxes for us! ;)
What's great about it: step-by-step assistance
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

What's great about it: Liked just doing what applied to me.
What's not so great: Waiting fot the program to load, very slow to get pins for e-file

Easy to Use

My sister-in-law prepares tax forms professionally using TurboTax. I was able to completed my own tax forms, in a few evenings with TurboTax 2012. She reviewed my work and had no changes or additions. TurboTax makes me feel like a pro! I also have confidence that my returns are accurate! We have a nice refund coming, and I want to sincerely thank you TurboTax!
What's great about it: I was able to use the product myself!
What's not so great: On occasion, while moving forward or backward in the return process, I had to re-enter information previously entered.

Easy to do

The data entry was straightforward and logically laid out.
Since I have used Turbo Tax since 2007 I would have like to see a more complete presentation of my Capital Gains tax loss carryforward details.
What's great about it: I don't have to spend time reading and learning the changes to the Federal and State tax law changes

The college student dependent statement could be clearer such as "If your child is a college student then included their time at college as time they lived with you".
Also, the "personal contribution to HSA" question should be asked at the same time the HSA contribution question is asked as oppose to revisiting during the "other" category. Let the computer program realign that input to the worksheet as oppose to making the user worry about it
