Great Experience as Usual!

What's great about it: Quick, detailed.
What's not so great: none
Pros: I had a baby, My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Taxes Easy!

I like the "Details" boxes for when I am not sure about something. I like that the information I need pops up on another window rather than changing the screen I am on. I like that Turbo Tax saves me time.
What's great about it: I like that Turbo Tax transfer information over from last year's return. I also like the "Details" boxes.
What's not so great: None.

Love turbo tax. Peace of mind that it's done right is great and auto-pop from previous years = ROCKS :)!
What's great about it: quick, easy to use, and peace of mind that it's done right
What's not so great: Doesn't include everything for home business on the side without paying another $40

Unexplained Explanations

I love TurboTax and use it nearly every year. Most of it is simple to work through and my taxes are finished in less than one day. However, it seems to me that when I asked the program to "explain" some items, the explanations were not written in laymen's language and prompted more questions than answers. This was especially true for me with dividend and interest income and with S-corp entries. I ultimately chose to ignore these "explanations" and plowed on through with what I could guess....
What's great about it: Most of the worksheets were very easy and simple to understand.
What's not so great: Detailed explanations of some things, especially other income items, such as DIV, INT interests were more complicated

I have been using TurboTax for years, and have always been delighted. Each year, the process gets more intuitive and systematic.

Roll forward of prior year's info is nice as is downloading from those couple institutions that are signed up to allow downloads. Interview makes life easy. It would be nice if more institutions could be accessed for downloading info.
What's great about it: Rolls previous returns forward
What's not so great: Rollin and scrollin
