Made tax preparation of a comprehensive return involving the various capital gains forms and handling of state additions and substractions very easy to comprehend.
What's great about it: Input of divident & interest data was easy. Appreciated easy handling of state data.
What's not so great: Changes were a little intimidating. Don't understand various color codes on columns.

What's great about it: the amazing guided process
What's not so great: buying multiple state returns
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

To easy not to use!

For a single individual who owns a home, it just takes the pain out of filing your taxes. After you use it once, it saves the files and you can transfer the same information for next year. Its very helpful with the prompts for any possible additional deductions etc.
What's great about it: I personally appreciated the way Turbo tax provides values for donated items.
What's not so great: Initially my version skipped a couple steps on deductions; but it was quickly resolved

This was the first time I have used Turbo Tax to prepare my taxes. I got back a better refund than I expected and cost me far less than going to a tax preparation store to have them done. I will use Turbo Tax next year!
What's great about it: Easy to use; I just plugged the numbers into the boxes

I have been using Turbo Tax for several years now and always struggle getting through the IRA and 401K sections. Not the fault of Turbo Tax, more of a problem with just understanding all the tax jargon.
