Software Glitch

I have used Turbo Tax for several years without incident
approx 8 hours additional work.
What's great about it: guide, calculations
What's not so great: My second return overwrote my first return. Deluxe CD.
Pros: I bought or sold investments

Quick and easy

I "enjoyed" using turbotax....(as much as you could enjoy taxes) The program was quick and easy to itemize and I love the simple deduction for charities. I could quickly and easily calculate the amount for the deductions. I love the detailed help that is available if you need to get further information on a specific topic.
What's great about it: Details that you could drill down to in the instances I needed clarification.
What's not so great: None
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

love that i can do all of my taxes for the comfort of my own home. wish there were not so many extra charges but ti is better that the charges that you get if you have to go somewhere else.

Outstanding

Having used the IRS software in preparing students for VITA, I will stick with good old Turbo Tax. It is intuitive, easy to use, for most people gives the same coverage without the hassels. Just a much better program.
What's great about it: Ease of use
What's not so great: A bit long, but given the complexity of taxes, unavoidable

I was able to electronically resubmit my adjusted Federal and State Tax Returns’ quickly.
What's great about it: It was very easy to correct the date of birth because TuboTax made a easily done correction available as soon as I logg
