i've been using this product for the past 12yrs and really can't appreciate it enough. everything!!! is soooo simple and quick that you can easily fill it in and forget it.
What's great about it: easy...nuf said...for 12 years!
What's not so great: can't think of a one :)

The only part I did not find easy was the charitable deductions where you had to list every donation by name. I already did that on paper and I would just like to put down the totals.
Everything else was a breeze--everything was clearly explained and easy to follow--I'll be back next year as i was in the past.

What's great about it: Quite easy to navigate. Help questions really helped. Answered all my questions.
What's not so great: Charitable deductions--too cumbersome

I have been using TurboTax for the past 10 to 15 years because it's been tried and true! I feel like it covers every point and am confident in filing my return.

I have a great deal of confidence that my return is accurate. Turbo Tax help answers my questions and helps me understand the processing.
What's great about it: Turbo Tax automatically does the work.

Worst Turbo Tax experience ever

Turbo Tax routed me through a series of review questions. The program prompted a series of IRA questions, then told me I could deduct up a $6,000 IRA contribution, and routed me to a number of institutions where I could open the IRA. I opened a $6,000 IRA at Schwab. When I went back to the return and added the IRA, the program said I didn't qualify for the IRA contribution. It took me two days of dealing w/Schwab to reverse the IRA funding and close the account, but I was able to fix the Turbo Tax error. I will never use Turbo Tax again.
What's great about it: None
What's not so great: Gave me incorrect information on IRA contributions

After using TurboTax for several years, I am finally getting better at navigating to just where I need to be. It isn't the easiest thing to do the first time. I am always satisfied with the finished product.
What's great about it: Accurate, complete

I've used TurboTax for many years and I like the convenience of it. It's a little expensive in my opinion, but much cheaper than a CPA or tax service. I like that it does everything for you, walking you through each step and then printing all the right forms for you. Efiling is also really easy.
What's great about it: Easy, quick, walks you through each step
What's not so great: Expensive
