Very Pleased

This product made paying my taxes a breeze. So pleased! I'd give you a 9.98 outta 10. I had difficulty understanding difference between AGI vs EI but the program told me I wasn't elligible for the adjustment anyway, so I was just very pleased. Also, it ha m bank info regarding interest from last year but didn't bring the info in so i had to retype it and then delete last years acct info. No biggie, but would have been nice. Prompting questions, tax payment method, and bringing info from 2011 all sped things up.
What's great about it: Question prompts were helpful, made paying easy, 2011 info helpful
What's not so great: AGI vs Earned income difficult, and 2011 interest didn't come over

Turbo Tax Deluxe Wins Again

As a return user, I am never disappointed (except in the amount of taxes I owe!! But, we aren't allowed to discuss politics on this site). TT Deluxe is an exceptional product that I would highly recommend!!
What's great about it: Ease of Use, Time Savings

Those above are the highlights. It takes perseverance to do taxes on this program. It feels like the programmers have not improved in user-friendliness but remained a bit old pc school.
Still, it is possible to get through - even when they try to get you to upgrade when not necessary.

What's great about it: Predictable after getting the jist of how it works
What's not so great: This (third time using Turbo Tax) was the most confusing. Sometimes it gave me baffling comments.

Tremendous Help to File

I found turbo tax to be extremely helpful in completing and filing my tax return. The information is presented in a clear format with additional clarification when and if needed.

Used to be Flawless

I have used TT for many years and love it as well as Quicken. This year, I went through all of the checks with no errors but when I went to e-file, it gave an error message stating that I could not e-file because I had a $0 entry for state tax (Idaho) that was not supported by either a 1099 or a W2. Fortunately, I found this on a message board together with the procedure to remove this entry and I was able to file.
What's great about it: Makes the complicated quite simple
What's not so great: Had annoying error appear just as I was about to file
Pros: I bought or sold investments

Sometimes changes / refinements clarify and sometimes they confuse. This year it was tough for me. But I wiggled through it.
