One thing that bothered me was that on my State Taxes I wasn't able to go back and change that I didn't get the "at home parent" credit without throwing out the entire tax return, maybe it was an error on my personal software but it was really annoying. Plus, the "live help" that you tout is not easy to find or participate in. Other than that, the product is great.
What's great about it: I love that it walks me through stuff that I didn't even know about
What's not so great: It should have the option to click on every single box and get an overview of what it means and a way to edit out

Fast, efficient and successful!

Thanks Turbotax! Our family appreciates being able to file our taxes with ease. We trust your company and turn to you every year for the same dependable tax services.
What's great about it: I was able to start and stop and use a trusty, dependable service the same as I do every year.
What's not so great: A few of the topics were hard to search this year but for the most part this was another easy year to file my taxes!

wish I could have seen an income averaging method

The product should walk through a step to verify that using income averaging won't produce less of a tax obligation. For people who cashed out a 401k this should be included.
What's great about it: easy to follow
What's not so great: Should have generated zeroes where I had left blanks

It is excellent, as always. I've used it since year 2. The only changes I would make is to transfer the phone number and the birthdates at import.

Review of 2012 product

Love the product, used it the last 5 years and the way it pulls in last years information to save time is awesome - alot of people have same job - house - cars etc.,, and that info just changes a little. It is a really easy to use, intuitive product. It is totally fast - I did my taxes on my lunch hour!! Love it - love it - am an accountant and will use this every year definitely.
What's great about it: super easy, free e filing, very fast, pulls in last yrs info
What's not so great: none that I saw

Seems slower

It didn't go as smoothly as in previous years. I tried all updates before I got started but was asked to do this two more times during preperation.
What's great about it: I'm not a tax expert so I really can't judge but I trust turbo tax.
What's not so great: One moment is 28 min. one minute is 12
