Some explanations aren't specific enough and refer to the IRS forms. Need regular plain english sometimes

TurboTax Deluxe Dominates

I've used TurboTax products for over five (5) years and am always amazed at the ease at which I prepare my taxes. It answers all of my questions and does so in an organized and timely manner. I am by no means a computer whiz or tax literate; therefore, I need a product like TurboTax to guide me. I won't use any other product.
What's great about it: Answered all of my questions and issues

adding additional income can sometimes be be missed due to the wording. The drop down list should include all goverment programs

2012 TT Review

TT provides a great means of being able to document transactions that pertain to your tax return. It also wraps everything up into a nice report/file when you are complete and makes e-filing easy.
What's great about it: Walks you thru step-by-step; nicely printed
What's not so great: not as thourough on state tax as on federal.

Very straight forward

Great product with three other opportunities for improvement. 1)My start-up was delayed since not obvious to me when I had completed a down-loan. I thus down-loaded several copies and made unnecessary call for Intuit help. 2) I failed to save my work before shutting off computer power so automatic periodic "save alerts" would be helpful. 3) Need more Intuit agreements (with OPM, Soc.Security, and major brokerage firms) for direct data in-put. With these improvements and my use of Intuit's tool to enter donations as we make them during the tax year, the entire process would be close to a joy!
What's great about it: love the automatic filling of many fields from my last year's forms
What's not so great: would be helpful to alphabetize the list of charitable organizations

FIRST TIME FOR REFUND

Program is simple, easy to use, (anyone should be able to use this tax program). I have been using it for about 8 years now and never any problems.
