By using the Easy Guide feature, I was able to complete federal, state, and city tax in less than a day. Figuring out the cost of donated items was a breeze as well. I really, really like the link for donating to our Veterans and their families. Thanks for including this feature!! You rock!!!

Easy way to get simple taxes wrapped up

Overall, my tax situation is relatively easy (W-2, interest, mortagage, charity dedcutions) so using TurboTax made it a snap to get through
That being said, it seems that every time I opened the program I needed to update something. This is disconcerning for folks who file early, since there may be a critical update that follows their filing.
What's great about it: Quick, complete, pretty intuitive
What's not so great: Frequent updates can cause concern for earlier filers
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Overall, TT has always been the product for me for 25+ years. I hope the product continues its integration with other financial sources and data suppliers, and expands its linkage into State Tax references. Keep up the Good Work!!!
What's great about it: I appreciate the ability to switch back and forth between the interview and the file methods, as that's the way I think.
What's not so great: The State interview processes are not as indepth, and could use more "links" to State publications

Turbo Tax is better than an accountant!

I have had complicated returns for years including a second home, capital gains, and my wife's small business. Despite this complexity, Turbo Tax has provided the means to complete my forms accurately, on time, and without audits (so far!). The two times I used an accountant for complicated returns, I got audited! No one watches my money like I do and Turbo Tax really helps me do this.
What's great about it: Fairly easy to use; TT does the calculations for you after you input your information answering questions
What's not so great: Turbo Tax simplifies completing tax returns but the complexity of the US tax system is not eliminated by this appication

Done in reasonable time

Too much time spent fiddling with "Edit" of entries. Soft ware
showed a negative entry on tax exempt income which was
very difficult to correct.
Used Turbotax since 1989. I'm about convinced Deluxe edition is not a plus.
