Great Refund on the way

When you have the one off questions, like I sold my cottage, it was impossible to find an answer for it. I wish there were more banks listed to download mortgage interest and tax information as well as mutual funds, etc from. Otherwise it is a great tool and Turbotax has saved me thousands over the past 10-15 years. Thanks!
What's great about it: Mostly user friendly
What's not so great: Hard to get info from banks.

Best product out there and saves alot of money doing the taxes yourself, instead of paying a tax preparer to do them for you. Easy to follow directions in completing all forms. If you need help, explanations are available.
What's great about it: It keeps track of my taxes from year to year,simplifying things

Missing prev YR IRA worksheet data

Everything else worked well except data from importing IRA data from 2011. I was pressed because of health issues and needed to do 2012 tqax in a hurry, almost overlooked this data which would have cost me approximately $5000/6000. Manually comparing 2011 and 2012 I discovered this omission and was able to enter info on FORMS view.
Otherwise, everything else is good!!!
Reason for health issues, my wife was terminally ill for past 4 months, and I spent 12 hours a day with her. Leaving little time to handle taxes earlier. She passed on last week.

Overall a simple system that helps organize all your info for a complete filing.
What's great about it: Easy, up dates are quick, clarifies FAQs
What's not so great: Still confusing when handling K-1s

I have been using Turbo Tax for over 5 years now. It just gets easier and easier to use. I like that I can start the refund process and come back to it later when I have all my information.
What's great about it: Easy to navigate.
What's not so great: Non yet

We tried another package. It gave the same refund. It also would have cost more if it weren't a free trial. We're confirmed TT users. Much easier than doing the forms and using a pencil, extra paper, and a calculator! We buy the multiple use package 'cause my sister and son also use it. We're a confirmed TT family.
The rest of the family (grown kids) are too far away to use our copy
What's great about it: easy, fast, pays for itself in asprin
What's not so great: returning to something isn't as easy as I'd like

Effective and Easy!

Very easy to use, effective, and complete. Just as effective as having an accountant do your taxes for you. For items I was unsure about, this was resolved during the "review" portion of this program.
What's great about it: Easy to use, extremely effective and complete.
What's not so great: Some items were a bit unclear as to whether or not it applied to me; this was easily resolved during the "review."
