Turbo Tax Review

Overall a good experience. I would like to be able to print by checking the sections rather than making a PDF and then finding the right pages to print. One needs a basic understanding of the tax code in order to use Turbo Tax unless the return is very simple (Short or simple long form).
What's great about it: Easy to follow directions in logical order
What's not so great: When checking possible errors I was not always sure where I was in the document.ing
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

i used Trubo Tax for filing the federal and two state returns. It's very user friendly and offers tips and suggestions along the way.
What's great about it: tips and advice from tax experts

It would be nice if Turbo Tax had a built in formula to figure the required minimum distribution on IRA's for those that are over 70.5 years old.
What's great about it: very easy to use
What's not so great: I had to figure out my own 'required minimum distribution' for the IRA

I've used Turbo Tax for several years with good results. It has a friendly user interface that makes it easy to use. It preemptively knows potential questions, and gives me more detail when needed. The pictures of where information is on certain forms is especially helpful.
I only wish there was some sort of cloud service. My previous computer broke and the tax information was lost. It would be easier for loyal Turbo Tax users if they had a way of accessing there previous returns through you.
What's great about it: It was simple and straight forward.
What's not so great: It wouldn't open a return from before 2011
