Always Detailed and Complete

I have been using Turbo Tax personally and for my businesses I used to own for over 16 years and have always been impressed with the ease of use and the help features incorporated every year. I recommend this software to my friends every year. I will continue to use it always. My experience with the software has ensured that I can always provide the IRS and STATE with the accurate and complete forms needed for my returns. This year Turbo Tax provided information I was not aware of and saved me some money on the returns yet again. Thanks for that!! I had to pay, but not as much as I had anticipated. Thats always a good thing.

2012 Tax Experience

Overall, Turbo Tax is a very easy product to use and I especially like the simplicity of "It's Deductable". It would be nice to be able to electronically file the state return since states will eventually require them to be filed that way in the future. Until that time, we will continue to mail our state return.
What's great about it: Formatt relatively unchanged from previous years allowing for ease of use.
What's not so great: Error check found missing items that should have already been included so additional time was needed to re-enter info.

Tax review

The main complaint I have is when backtracking to review, it didn't save the information I entered. It returned to default so I had to re-enter my information.
What's great about it: Simple to use, easy to understand

Made it easy

I've only done taxes a few times with my husband so going alone his year was a little scary. You helped me find my way and hopefully have successfully completed all entries without being called up by the IRS!
What's great about it: ease of understanding
What's not so great: just alway weary of putting in info

I have used Turbo Tax for at least the last 5 years and have been able to complete my taxes from start to finish in under 30 minutes. I have full confidence that the program has found any potential errors before they are officially filed. I especially like how it can download the previous year's file and input most of the info automatically and also alert you to anything that may have been overlooked based on the previous year's entries.
