being using Turbo Tax for a few years longest it's out there i will continued to used it
What's great about it: very easy to use explains every detail
What's not so great: none
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

What's great about it: Simple, Accurate, Thorough

Foreign company pension payments withholding tax

I am a US resident and have used Turbo tax for several years and over the years have found it easy to use.
But this year for the first time I received a pension payment from a Canadian Company which included a non-residence tax withholding.
Could not find where to put foreign pension income or where to show the tax withholding for pensions.
Will probably next year try a competitors program
What's great about it: Easy to use
What's not so great: seems to be missing foreign pension info

Simplicity!

Instructions are very easy to follow but having to pay for each individual state return and then having to pay to e-file each individual state is outrageous especially when there are three different states involved. This is very expensive.
What's great about it: Easy to follow step by step instructions.
What's not so great: Having to par for each individual state (3 states) expensive. Paying to e-file each state return (3 states) expensive.

I like the interview method of information input. I also like the ability to drill down into forms and worksheets to check information.
What's great about it: Easy import of last year's information. Program kept up to date.
What's not so great: Expensive added states and state filing fees. Program revised often.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)
