Fast and Easy

I was not able to get any help for the one or two questions I had. There were two school districts put in with transposed numbers. I couldn't tell if Turbo filed my city (RITA) and school district taxes. Otherwise it is a very good bargain for the price and saved lots of time and trouble figuring things out and calculating.
What's great about it: Turbo Tax goes through all the steps easily and thoroughly - no flipping through pages and trying to find where you are.
What's not so great: Has too many review sections

good product, non resident state needs work

One of my employers had an old address on file and as a result I had Maryland taxes withheld in error. There was no way i could find through the process of filing the Maryland non-resident to correctly report this.. I had to go into the forms and actually modify the fields that were showing tax liability for Maryland. Furthermore, the first couple times I went through the Maryland State Q&A, all of the years were removed from the dialogue. For example, I would get questions like "were you a resident of this state for all of ? (there should be a "2012" before that question mark).
Anyway, bugs happen. It's still a good product. However, you may want to look into what would cause the missing dates and maybe add some better non-resident questions to deal with situations like the one I had.
What's great about it: could do my taxes in one night
What's not so great: took all night to do my taxes
Pros: I moved, My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Piled up tax refund!

It is easy to use and maximize your tax refund. I had been used the Turbo Tax last eight years without any problems and audits from IRS. Like the analysis of audit risk feature.
What's great about it: It is an excellent tool for filing tax.
What's not so great: Not thing to complaint!

I love TurboTax

I have been using Turbo tax for years and I love it! It makes filing taxes on your own easy. I don't trust external tax preparers due to some horror stories I've heard from friends. With the help of Turbo Tax, I can be a better tax preparer than those who do it for a living since I know my own financial situation better than anyone else does.
What's great about it: ease of use; reminders of what I can deduct; prior year reference
What's not so great: can't think of any

Quick and easy, but required some work arounds

For the most part, the program was easy to use and very intuitive. The only issues I had were dealing with donations. If the items donated were not in the list, there was no way in the program to add them. I had to go to the web site for the donations and enter them there. That worked - -would have been nice to have in the program. Also, it made me enter the same info twice for a car doantion. Otherwise, no issues and very easy.
What's great about it: Intuitive and easy to follow
What's not so great: Enterning donations was not so easy
