Multi-state problems

I had to file in 3 states, two as part-year resident and one as a non-resident. Not an easy task, and TurboTax was not up to the challenge. TurboTax failed to pull up California Schedule S, which was crucial for the other state tax credit. TurboTax also failed to properly allocate long-term gains as Non-Massachusetts. Also crucial. It took me a long time to find these mistakes and fix them manually on the appropriate forms.
What's great about it: Eventually got it right!
What's not so great: Had to find the right forms myself
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I moved, I bought or sold investments

Great Product

I really like using Turbo Tax, it is very easy to use and manuvere through. But when I have a complicated question sometimes it doesn't always have the answer to fit my scenario. But other than that it is a Must have every ear when I do my taxes. Really great product.
What's great about it: quick, easy, user friendly
What's not so great: not enough valuable answers to questions i have

I've used TT for so long I can't remember. I've recommended to friends and family. It's really easy to use, but are still some areas in need of improvement with regards to explaining certain issues. Overall, it has seemed to improve each year for the better.
What's great about it: Ease of use
What's not so great: Still a little weak in explainatory areas.

pretty simple to use

This was my first time doing my own taxes. Turbo Tax was easy to use and very organized. i bought the Deluxe version of the software, but didn't appreciate still have to pay to e-file the State return and being limited to only one State return.
Even still, Turbo Tax made it almost painless to getting the task done. it was much easier than trying to do on my own and much cheaper than hiring a professional. will definitely go with Turbo Tax again next year!
What's great about it: I liked how it walked you through each step if you wanted it to
What's not so great: some of the items could have had better explanation.

Enjoyed the program (not paying the taxes). Program used language in common with the other material (forms) I had.

Seems almost too easy

After using TurboTax for several years, I have learned to relax more and trust the careful and methodical process of completing and filing my tax returns. The relatively small cost is far overshadowed by the ease of use, the handy ability to get more information or explanations, and the confidence I have gained by using the TurboTax software. Yes, it often seems like I have an experienced tax accountant right by my side as I move through the process.
What's great about it: Ease of use - peace of mind - TurboTax catches my screw-ups
What's not so great: Sometimes feel uneasy as the process seems so easy.
